A New Day

What an eventful day went into work for meetings about the plans for the school closure very strange feeling with just 8 children from the Early Years and Key Stage 1 (normally 270 ) these were looked after by 3 other members of staff whilst the rest of us were told what would be happening and also given our rota I am working in school 1 day every two weeks but need to be available if any other staff have to go into isolation. Then spent the rest of the day preparing work for the next pack of work to be sent out and also printing off resources to make at home ready for September. Called at mum's on the way back from work to tell her that we are not going to be visiting for a while as with two school staff and two N.H.S staff in the family don't want to put her at risk of this terrible virus couldn't be at a worst time with Dad's death not so long ago and also his birthday coming up on Saturday but will speak to her on the phone everyday. Finally listened to Boris Johnson telling the nation that we are going into lockdown to try and slow down the virus will be glad when its time for bed.
