Fallen Leaves

Last night a cold southerly blew through, leaving behind a very cold day today.  No colour in the sunrise, so after breakfast I went for a stroll to the lake and back through the park.  I took this photo at the park.  The extra is of the very popular children's play ground, but now closed due to the Covid-19 virus.  On the way back through the park I collected about 20 walnuts that had fallen off the trees overnight.  A good start to the walnut season.

I have had the fire going all day, (I have plenty of firewood).  NZ will be in lockdown for the next 4 weeks.  Let's hope we stamp out the unwanted virus.
