Shine on

I went to a funeral today. Not for my friend who died last week - that's to come on 5 February. This one was for my best friend's father who died after a long period of suffering with Alzheimer's Disease.

My shoes were filthy from all the snow and mud around so I gave them a good polish before I left. It made me think that some things in life don't change. You can't do better than a tin of Kiwi Parade Gloss Black to shine your shoes, stored in the cupboard with the brushes in an old shoe box. Comforting.
