Now, as I see it......

Bus Stop

The lockdown rules that were announced yesterday haven't really changed anything for us.  We seem to have got ourselves into a bit of a routine over the last few days; an early walk across the fields seeing few or no people and staying clear of any we do see, stopping at the village shop for a newspaper (and I am a subscriber so can just collect it without getting close to the shopkeeper or cash changing hands).  At 1pm we watch Joe Stilgoe for half an hour performing live from his shed on YouTube and the rest of the time is spent doing various jobs around the house, reading or W doing her studying.  We have enough food in to last at least until the weekend so don't need to worry about shopping yet and the supermarket we use has emailed with details of how they will be restricting access and keeping people separate, so all sounds quite promising.

On our walk this morning we passed the bus stop which has been decorated with knitted flowers by the Ladies Group in the village.  It was intended to be for Easter, but to cheer people up they have decorated it early.
