The osmanthus(?) is flowering spectacularly at the moment and attracting a wide range of bees (but no butterflies today).

Not terribly surprised by tonight's announcement.  Means the B&B is now firmly closed rather than simply devoid of bookings. Doesn't really make a lot of odds, other than turning down the thermostat a bit further.
