Day 1, one out one in

Collecting a prescription, check, walked there, walked back the long way, check.

Three allowed in the pharmacy at any one time. It was one out, one in. The queue was well spaced.

The way Susan described it was that people were moving around inside avoiding each other until it was their turn to go to the counter. A bit like those computer games where shadowing characters slide in and out of your vision as you go about your mission.

Good news about the allotment from Mr Gove, https://youtu.be/zquwDBDc3D8, we can go! That’s a huge relief to me. It’s coming up to a critical time of the year. Time lost now would affect the whole of the season. But not good news for you golfers.

We both worked in the garden this afternoon. I washed the greenhouse glass, hoed up the soil and generally got things ready to sow stuff later this week. Susan squashed lily beetles.

We collected Doreen for dinner and a bit of company for her. Day 1 of lockdown negotiated. How many to go?
