Day 2, three rows of Casablanca

A satisfactory routine developing. How long it remains satisfactory will become apparent in the coming weeks.

It goes like this: breakfast, correspondence and administration, walk, lunch, garden or allotment, cook and eat dinner, ukulele or guitar, watch a bit of TV, repeat.

Our walk today was around the lanes and byways along the Pilgrims Way, normally we stay away from these lanes as they can be busy with inattentive drivers. Not today, another perfect early spring day with very little traffic except for fellow foot travellers.

Managed to get three rows of Casablanca early potatoes in at the allotment this afternoon. Susan is itching to be up there but is foiled most days as their is often an appointment regarding her mum.

Yesterday she waited in for a telephone consultation about Doreen’s eyes rather than take her to the hospital. It didn’t happen neither did a visit by the District Nurse this afternoon. Just two of those things in the circumstances. A person from KCC Social Services did call this morning to install some low raise steps at Doreen’s front door. So that made the score 1-2.
