Snapshots of my world

Pick me ups!

I think, after last night's announcement, it's fair to say we're all going to need to look for the moments of joy and positivity in each day. The beautiful little crocus flowers in the park on my evening stroll definitely count as just that. It was very quiet out, just a few runners who would cross to the other side and we'd exchange a smile, knowingly. I'm so grateful we're currently allowed to go out once a day for some fresh air exercise. :-)

A busy day at school. 37 children appeared, so it was very hands on cooking a baked potato for them at dinner! It was also quite the job serving the range of chosen breakfast cereals, but crumpets for tea was much more straightforward! We completed the daily workout, come PE lessons, from Joe Wicks, played lots of games, did some craft and spent some time outside. The numbers are expected to drop as the days pass, when the children were collected by parents this evening, the headteacher pleaded with them to think about keeping them at home. Some of the children in today definitely don't have a need to be there...!

I'm looking forward to Our Girl starting this evening. :-)

Keep yourselves safe blippers!
