A fleeting butterfly and a blue fly

We are lying low, so the garden is our studio.

This fleeting butterfly hopped from bud to bud, but never chose the same type of perch as the bees were searching for. I'm afraid I have no idea what the species is.

However I noticed when examining the picture that a 'blue' coloured insect, possibly a fly, can be seen on the twig just behind the topmost part of the butterfly's upper wing. It wasn't there in the next picture, taken very soon after. I think it show the level of insect activity around the pussy willow flowers.

Time to go and make supper. I'm not sure how varied my blips are going to be in the near future. I'll try my best.
