Locking Down

Working from home was definitely quieter today, we live a bit away from a main road but working in the office upstairs at the back of the house you can usually hear the road traffic. There was considerably less than usual today. Working like this seems to be getting to feel a bit more normal for most people (who weren't homeworkers previously) now. Still worrying what the long term effects might be, not just on productivity but mental and physical health too. Only time will tell.

Annie has volunteered for the local support group, looking after vulnerable people and those in self-isolation in the village. This evening we've done a leaflet drop on behalf of the Parish Council to let people know when they can find and engage with the available support. Lots of careful hand sanitizing as we go - it was odd to be out.

Before the sun was completely gone there was just time for a photo.

Thank you for the lovely comments on yesterday's photo.
