Tiny Painted Turtle

As we were walking along the trail our grandson noticed this tiny painted turtle lost in the sand on the path. As busy as the park is, it would have been stepped on if he hadn't noticed it and my husband hadn't rescued it. My husband put the turtle on a log near the lake.
