Yellow

The governor officially closed all essential businesses in the state and strongly urged everyone to stay home….  H went to Trader Jo’s to pick up some wine at the designated Senior hour .(.they were seriously depleted.) in spite of our son telling him to stay home...also got me some cough syrup...,..  …We took a walk closer in our neighborhood…it’s still gorgeous out… the playground equipment now has police yellow tape around each piece ,   the bushtits are still adding to their nest (it looks a bit more substantial now..extra) and we facetimed with the other family.    Oskar is loving life right now (He in NOT FOND of school) but Nik, the 17 yo very social,  easygoing, scholar athlete with the new girl friend is having the roughest time.  (“this sucks”)   Then another FaceTime with an old college friend and the day zoomed past.     My neighbor said I could cut his forsythia ( you can barely see the tree on the left)  Small kindnesses.   And large--Seattle is raising lots of money in a semi organized way to help the people who need it.
