Another day in the garden

Another day in the garden today in beautiful warm weather.  One of the joys of taking over a new garden is that you do not know what has been planted and what will appear with each new season.  These are our latest surprise, beautiful colourful flowerheads appearing in little clumps - I am guessing they are a variety of anemone.

I continued with the long hard job of digging down to the old path for an hour.  I shall take it in small bites as it is hard going but I got about another 3m cleared today.
