Last Fall

Well we can hope. Overnight the snowfall was not entirely a surprise because I looked at the forecast, but still a mixed feeling on looking out of the window. It looks pretty, however haven't we had enough?

Fortunately, not more than an inch and the temperature warmed up quickly, so the snow melted away by lunchtime.

I tried to contrast the lighter orange stalks of dead wildflowers in the meadow against the darker blueish woodland. I think maybe the two foreground trees are too dark. Strange how I see that now I'm writing about the image. I suppose I might ruminate over non-blip images before finalising (what non-blip images? There's no time for them!).
