Day 2

As the weather was cloudy but dry we went out for a bike ride in our exercise slot. We went down the cyclepath to Cramond, along the front to Ocean Terminal and then back up another cyclepath to Roseburn. There were a few people around, dutifully in pairs or family units and the groups were staying apart so that was good. We spent a good 10 minutes looking at the work at a scrap metal yard to sort metals out using cranes. It was interesting and the guys were really good using their grabbers. The extra shows a pile being dumped so the ferrous metals could be removed. My blip is the sad sight of the graffiti wall behind barriers, so the artists can no longer get to it. I assume this is for the Tram extension, but is very sad. When we got home I went on my shopping expedition for the day; how life is simplified.
I also saw this on the BBC and decided to copy it. It’s interesting sign of double standards methinks.

'Putting further strain on already pressed local services'
Earlier today it was revealed that Prince Charles has tested positive for Covid-19.
He is currently self-isolating with the Duchess of Cornwall on the Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire.
The BBC's Glenn Campbell highlights a Tweet from the area's MP, which "criticised" people from other areas for travelling to Aberdeenshire as "selfish" and said it was "putting further strain on already pressed local services".

The MP for Royal Deeside posted this on the day Prince Charles and Camilla arrived to take up temporary residence at Birkhall #coronavirus https://twitter.com/andrewbowie_mp/status/1241681367877984256 …

To all those flooding up Deeside to hotels, holiday homes or caravan parks at Aboyne, Ballater or Braemar...

STOP.

Your actions are selfish and putting further strain on already pressed local services.

This is not a game. It's not a holiday. Think of others. Please.
