Small Surprise

While weeding, this little guy/girl hopped across my daughter's arm - surprise! 

I've been nurturing some sourdough starter to make bread for a week. Today I determined it was ready and baked my first loaf of bread. I will have to say it is delicious.
Although supplies are somewhat more difficult to get, especially since we rarely go to the store, I had tons of baking supplies. I had stocked up for Christmas baking in anticipation of my daughters visiting in December. I ended up out of state for 3 months taking care of my mom through her battle with cancer. We did not celebrate Christmas at my house, thus no holiday baking. We are definitely making up for it now.
