Spoor of the Bookworm

Landscape

A weather battered, age eroded landscape, formed by nature and carved by experience, whose every peak and valley remind one of the generations that have gone before and shaped its very form. Ever changing and yet always recognisable to those who have once known it. Once smooth, taut and firm ( or at least so in memory) now aged into deep lines and sagging surfaces, marked by humour and pain, it's central peak rising higher as the decades pass, it's bristling foliage turning grey then white; bleached by age and concern.
