Lockdown lunch

Safely fenced in. As you can see, the weather couldn't be more different from yesterday. What a relief to see the habitual sunshine and blue skies again (chez nous in France, it is snowing). Once more every available moment was spent outdoors. I got two loads of laundry washed and dried, and we had a Skype Spanish lesson (indoors) which worked pretty well. Apart from my brain being broken by the imperfect subjunctive.

Lunch was an old favourite, Jansson's Temptation. We haven't had it for many years; it was banned from menus when I started Slimming World in 2015. Consisting as it does of onions, potatoes, anchovies, butter, breadcrumbs, and cream. Lots of cream. We seem to have increased our cream consumption considerably in the last ten days. It was no doubt cancelled out by the very nice fruit salad S made, featuring orange, mango, dried cranberries, dried apricots, prunes, and a good slug of PX sherry.
