In a Pickle

We had some extra romanesco from the garden, a few carrots and a hunk of red pepper; hopefully it's all turning into a lovely appetizer with the help of some vinegar, garlic, onions and spices. I also made a batch of shortbread cookies, so it's been a good food day.
