River Otter

I was out very early this morning just after sunrise and headed to the beach before many people were around.  The sound of the sea was lovely as the waves broke over the beach.  I then walked to White Bridge where a Cormorant was diving in and out of the water before me.  Looking in the opposite direction two swans were feeding upstream.  I then went for a walk along the coastal footpath with its wonderful views back towards Budleigh.  On the way back I saw a friend and we had a few minutes chat from a distance.  It was then a quick walk back home for breakfast.  Such a lovely morning.

I am so glad that we have such lovely walking on our doorstep and that the coastal footpath in this direction is very wide and you can easily step the required distance aside from anyone you see.  I spoke to my son in laws mother whose birthday it is today and she hasn't been outside as she doesn't feel she has enough room around her where she lives in London.  Keep safe everyone.
