Well My Goodness!

1. Hermit thrush

4. Eastern towhee ~ male

Imagine my surprise when #1 showed up this morning! I'd decided he'd left to head north ages ago because it's been so long since I've seen him. And it was also good to see #4 because I've seen the female several times recently (and so have you) but hadn't seen the male for a long time. I actually saw him three times today - go figure. 

It was a nice warm day today - sunny in the morning, cloudy in the afternoon, now raining. Rain through much of tomorrow, I gather - so it'll be a jigsaw puzzle day.
