Japanese Hill Cherry .....

.... or to give the blossom its correct name it's Prunus Sargentii and it's to be found beside the two small ponds in the Pollok Park Gardens.

We did wake up to a blue sky this morning but by mid morning it had all but disappeared. I went out early for my permitted exercise period and on my return armed with my slim long handled fork I tackled the weeds in the front garden .... I never manage to remove them all but it does look a bit better.

Must remember the clocks go forward tonight .... wouldn't like to miss our church service on YouTube tomorrow.
