Lockdown day 2. Walking in the woods.

Jenny hasn't been out anywhere since the day they declared pregnant women were a risk, so basically the 16th of March or thereby. We decided for today's walk to drive 1 mile to a woodland and go for a nice walk to have a change of scenery. Ash stayed home so that we had someone else who could go out if needs be...I also think he wanted a bit of quiet time before baby 2.0 arrives.

When we were at the car park Kiera saw another boy and girl and we told her she could wave at them and smile. (She knows the new rules of life) She waved at the kids, the boy waved back, the little girl shouted across, "I can't come near you because you've got the virus"  the kids Dad was absolutely mortified. We were howling. Poor little girl. It's a very confusing time.

When we got home it was such nice weather that we sat in the sun in the garden and had a picnic. Kiera loved it and Jenny declared this was the best day she'd had in ages.

Lockdown does just feel a bit like a normal day here...kinda... It's like we've changed up what we do because Jenny is pregnant.
