Sunshine before Snow!

Lockdown Day 7

We had another early morning walk with the boys, but just did a circuit from home down to the cliffs, along the cliff top and back up the hill to home which was about 2.5 miles in total.  The wind was even stronger than yesterday and it was very cold,  but it was nice and sunny.  The cliff edge looked very pretty with all these flower in bloom which was a nice surprise.  However, not long after we got home we had a snow blizzard, then it was sunny again, then more snow and so on!

We blitzed the house from top to bottom, Alan hoovered and mopped while I did the cleaning, tidying, washing and drying. Rach and the girls FaceTimed us which was nice.  It's such a shame as it was Scott's birthday yesterday and Rach had booked a weekend in London and the girls were supposed to be coming to stay with us, but of course all that had to be cancelled.  Back to the cleaning and we didn't sit down until about 4pm, then I cooked the Sunday roast, and had a video chat with Ibby - he's in isolation at the moment as someone on his last flight has tested positive for Covid-19, so he's quite anxious.

I had hoped to catch up with you all over the last couple of days, but I'm struggling to focus on anything at the moment.  I think it's all the uncertainty of what's going on, but I'm sure everyone's feeling like that.

I hope everyone's ok!
