Stock piling

Hibernation day 9 ,Lock down day 6
This little mouse has not obeyed the rules and has been stockpiling nuts.I could not believe how many it could stuff in it’s tiny mouth, at least 5 and was trying to get more. He was very wary but once he was satisfied that all was there he was in and out in a flash. If he had a shopping trolley it would be full to the top ;)
Felt really cold today so did not stay outside for long. Planted some ‘old’ broad beans that I had saved from a few years ago. They had dried out so popped them in some water for 24hours, we’ll see what happens.
Sarah popped up with two rhubarb plants and some Bay leaves. She also left some dried mushrooms as she had ordered a kilo and ended up with a huge bag full, dried mushrooms do not weigh very much.She left them on the doorstep , Rang the bell and then stepped back so we could have a natter. I gave her some seeds - peas, sweet peas and cress so a good exchange.
The lady who started the Women’s Land Army Facebook page is from Black Isle veg box so just up the road from me. I should get my box on Thursday :)
Started to watch the film Mr Jones in the evening but we both kept falling asleep even though it looks good. So we watched a couple of episodes of Frankenstein instead :)
