A sad sight indeed

This is Tsim Sha Tsui station at 4pm. For those who’ve been to HK, this is such an unusual sight as it’s one of HK’s busiest underground stations and to see it like this was quite sad.

Usually there are loads of tourists walking around, annoyingly slowly as they find their right exit, but there are no tourists in HK at the moment .. or anywhere really.

As I haven’t been out much, I haven’t really noticed this. Later on I passed by the Avenue of Stars and that was empty too.

I had to go into town for a doctor’s appointment where there was much talk about Covid-19 and its effects on EVERYTHING!

Appointment done, then a quick run through India Central, aka Chung King Mansion to get some saffron and samosas. Never seen Nathan Road look so deserted either. Really quite sad, but good that people are staying indoors, where it’s safe.

Crossed the harbour on the star ferry, in the extra, where you can see it was another dull, gloomy, wet day!!!
