Cute

New lambs every day in the fields we overlook. . This one was all on its own, curious  and happy to pose.  I wandered into the next field and chatted to the shepherd who said quite a few ewes are having one live lamb and one dead one. He blames the terrible wet month of February. Lots more lambs to be born yet and some ewes expecting triplets

Day 15. Did not leave the house other than to look for lambs. Chatted on the phone to a friend who lives in a village near Cartmel who was ill in mid February after a quiz night in the village Hall.  She thought it was  regular flu - aching and tired but no temperature and no cough. It was only this week that she talked to a neighbour and found out everyone from quiz night has been ill,  some very seriously;  one has died from Covid 19 and one is still in intensive care but a few had virtually no symptoms. She said there is no correlation between where people were sitting and how ill they have been but their  local surgery regards them all as having had the virus. One participant had recently been abroad...., but then maybe it was whoever set out the cutlery.
