The Tuesday Run

Keeping to our routine, today its the Tuesday Run. We set off across the fields to skirt round the local farm which has put notices like this on all the paths. They have not outright banned us  like another local farm that has put Keep Out notices all around.  I did 6km  and took lots of photos. Mr P left me to get on with it and did about 8km.   I passed one mountain biker. Fortunately I met him at a large gate and not on "Chapel Way" (extra ) where we would have struggled to maintain the 2-3m requested in the notice.
Day 16 .  I'm counting from Monday 16 March which was the first day of the social distancing guidelines,  even though it seems they might have been a month late,  if my tale from yesterday is common throughout the country.
Good news, my uncle G has finally managed to get home from Florida, three weeks later than planned after Virgin cancelled their flights. Very relieved, he had 3 days medication left.
On a more depressing front,we have heard about the  nurseries growing the plants we all buy  between Easter and July, when they make most of their sales for the year. There are many too many plants being grown for  online sales.  Those of us with gardens would love to help them out but its not regarded as essential.  It's difficult not to  worry about all the small businesses whose livelihoods are on the line.
