Jackdaw

Jackdaw, don't you waste one second,
If no ifs, and but no buts,
Chase away those pesky bluetits;
Don't they know they're all your nuts?

Get them down your beak, now, quickly,
One more nut and then another,
Just as fast as you can eat them;
Look, here comes your corvine brother.

Soon, between you, all the nuts will
Disappear, then so will you.
With some luck, returning bluetits
Might pick up a crumb or two.
