Give us this day........

Another day, another stay-at-home.

Great excitement this morning when the Morrison's delivery man, Daniel, rang to say he'd be here in ten minutes.  We were expecting him today, but not till 12, having managed to secure this delivery slot over two weeks ago, these days there are none to be had,.  He left everything in the porch which we brought in after he'd left, to a big thumbs up from Ann and I through the window.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that most of the order had been fulfilled, with just a few substitutions, mainly acceptable, and a few omissions.  It included a full complement of bird food, so the wood pigeons and sparrows are also happy.

Ann decided to bake some bread for lunch.  She found a recipe for yeast free soda bread.  For a first attempt at baking bread Ann produced a very acceptable loaf, half of which we had with our lunch.

This afternoon we had a Zoom session with Maureen and Ian before going out for my daily walk to Shottery.
