Faded

Hurray, hurray, the sun was out today at last! So although I should have gone walking and got a lovely shot of the land, the fact the snow has all gone made me decide it would just look soggy. So Plan B (note, George Osborne, I do have one - no, I'm not getting political, just having a laugh!) was to get something really bright in the sunlight, in this case one of the tulips my daughter gave me several days ago. But 'several days' was the rub. They're defo looking a little on the faded side, so I decided to play on this in the processing. I wanted to get the petals looking as papery as poss and not such a zingy red. I hope it works. Tulip portrait, anyway..
