If You Go Down In The Woods Today

If you had you wouldn't have seen many people. I was able to give the few walkers, horse riders and other cyclists a wide berth. it was good to be out on the bike after a week. The forest tracks are drying out and the trees are beginning to burst forth. So I think was obeying the Boris edict.

I particularly love this part of Epping Forest with its glade of twisted coppiced beeches. I should think it would be scary to walk through at night with all the knotted grimacing faces staring out at you.

Oh, and I managed to give April Fool jokes a wide birth too.
