Day Eight.... chilling out and warming up.

Day Eight of our nationwide lockdown. A dull somewhat chilly day. Keith fired up the wood burner stove for the first time this autumn. Maisie’s “Day Bed” is close to the hearth and she soon took possession. That didn’t last long because when she vacated it the two tortie kitten/cats took it over. It’s taken them no time at all to suss out the comfort of a fire place. Here Marigold is stretched out on the bed and Myrtle is lying alongside. They’d been busy washing each other.
