Almost Normal - Life in the times of Corona

Now at the point when the delivery of supermarket groceries is a much anticipated event, needing to be booked at least four days in advance. Campus Security guard escorts them right to the door.  In this utterly miserable, totally grey, constantly cold and driving wet rain day, the event brought a very welcome splash of colour which I've tweaked just a bit.

Life in the times of Corona means that it hardly seemed unusual when Caitlin's 40th birthday party was an online Zoom event. Some dozen of us, including her sister in Boston, and others sprinkled around Istanbul Turkey, raised a glass and had a laugh for a couple of hours. Almost normal.

But not quite.
