More Allotment tatties planted :-)

Our daily exercise today was a further visit to our Saughton Allotment and pleased to report that the second-bed of potatoes are now successfully planted ...

... the main snap shows that second-bed in the foreground (with a remaining broccoli stem in the middle!); and you can also see the bed of onions and earlier potato-bed, which we planted out on Monday.

And, as well as getting some purple sprouting-broccoli from that stem; we also lifted the last of the leeks, which were initially planted out last Autumn!

Obviously used up some more of that famous zoo-poo whilst planting the potatoes; and most of the remainder has gone onto the fruit-bed (raspberries, gooseberries and redcurrants) as a surface mulch.

In even further 'Allotment-excitement', our small pond now has some frog-spawn --- see extra :-)

Plot definitely taking shape for 2020 now :-))
