The final bloom

I have enjoyed watching my two amaryllis plants going through their stages of growth .... leaves, buds and finally the beautiful flower heads.

Plant number one had eight pink flowers and this one, number two, had six two tone heads. Five have withered and this is the final flower which I have put in a small vase on my kitchen window sill.
