Green onion flower

Decided to trim the wedelia in the front strip at our house to fill the green bin which goes out tonite - which in turn led to trimming the bougainvillea bushes - which led to thinning out some dead branches in the natal plum bushes (which have even nastier thorns than the bougainvillea) - which led to a late lunch and a sunburn  -  and a very lazy afternoon!   Pleased with the progress, but difficult to rein in the temptation to do just one more thing which makes it overload.

Newspaper headline :  MASK UP, MAYOR SAYS
Our mayor urges Oahu residents to wear a cloth mask (homemade or purchased) every time they go out in public.  He clarifies not to use the surgical or N95 masks which are in short supply and are to protect our medical professionals and first responders.   The point in wearing the mask is that it prevents people from touching their faces.  New evidence suggests that people without symptoms may be unknowingly spreading the virus.
First firefighter tested positive, going to work after returning from vacation, while still asymptomatic, now in quarantine.   All 43 stations are being disinfected and sanitized.
Second death from the coronavirus today, followed by a third death.

Take care and stay well, everyone!
