Alone

Alone on a branch near the feeder but not for long.

The blue tits do not 'get' social isolation and come in droves to feed up.

We've had a huge bonfire today to get rid of all the garden rubbish that had built up and for all it's size the heat was immense so it didn't last long.

Someone who shall be nameless has let the chickens out,  'as we are at home more now', so they are rampaging through the flowerbeds, wincing here, and one even remembered where we kept the food it the utility! I nearly trod on it as it had surreptitiously crept in behind me.

The dogs - well - don't seem at all bothered by events and no I don't expect Poppy to grab the chicken by it's legs and drag it back from whence it came but actually  ... now I'm thinking about it .....

Though there are the other 13.
