Saturday: Assorted Beans

Lovely sunny day.
Soaked 2 lots of beans overnight, mixed Runner Beans & climbing bean “Cobra” - both from Cottage Garden Society seed swap. I used toilet roll tubes as pots, saw a nifty variation in this video - https://youtu.be/3vN5Mn_-5MM
When I’ve previously used the cardboard tubes as they were the compost fell out so folded the ends over to make a base, see bottom part of today’s Blip. The video has lots of other good advice and gardening tips.
Purple snap peas were sown in normal pots.
Gave the greenhouse a clear out, anything not edible moved outside. Lifted the big trays and evicted slugs to the compost bin, now I have plenty of room for all the salad & veggie seedlings and young plants.
Rocket sown a couple of days ago has germinated well.
Started planting some little plants into the garden, it’s very dry and I’m trying to reduce the watering and get some space for the young veggies when they get potted up.
Our second little granddaughter was born late last night, love & hugs to everyone x
