Life in the time of Covid19 - Day 11

A flamboyant flower, these Hibiscus, like the toi toi yesterday can be found all over the north island of NZ soaking up the sun.

Lockdown
A long, long walk on the beach today, about 2 mile's each way. No surfers or swimmers out, new 'guidance' has been published making it quite clear that these activities should not be taking place. On the other hand it was a veritable velodrome on the beach, lots of bikes whizzing along in quite a stiff breeze.
Chatted on the phone to sons and agreed we would set 'house party' on our phones and we could all sit in our various bubbles having a party chatting, the only problem is at what time if all want a glass of vino. Family flung out in California, UK and NZ so some fairly large swings in time difference.
A beautiful day once again; for some reason l am feeling in a ridiculously cheerful and optimistic mood.
