Worm meal

I had fun counting the birds for the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch: 3 woodpigeons, 2 robins, 1 blackbird, 2 blue tits, 2 house sparrows and 6 starlings. That isn't bad for an hour, although I have seen more sparrows at one time and I sometimes have long-tailed tits. The feral pigeons didn't appear, either.

The sun appeared today and it was warm enough for a coffee and croissant outside Beamish & McGlue. Bliss. Other than that and watching birds, I've been quite lazy today, completing some admin tasks and faffing about.

I watched Nostalgia for the Light, which was poignant and beautiful, astonishing, sad and yet hopeful.
