Bottoms up

Bumblebees are quite evasive when it comes to posing for photographs. This one dived into a camellia flower to escape. I got lots of photos of regular bees, though, and also my first wasp of the year (see Extras).

We had a quiet day at home today, without even going for a walk, and it was a bit like being on holiday. Had Covid-19 not happened, I would have been off to Athens today with my girlfriends. As it is, the weather is much better here currently; over there it's windy and rainy for the next few days!
