Out Of Bounds

After a leisurely breakfast with the papers, this morning's outing was a bike ride along the quiet country lanes towards Butleigh. On the way out we were cycling into the teeth of a pretty strong wind but the sun got through the weak clouds by the time we turned for home and it got quite warm.

This photo was taken from the gate, looking at a track leading into private woodland that runs alongside one of the lanes we cycled. Tempting, but out of bounds. If they don't see sense, that small minority of people who are behaving selfishly could soon have all our open spaces out of bounds for all of us.

This afternoon, we started sanding down and repainting our metal garden furniture. Managed to get two chairs done and looking almost like new. Four more chairs and the table to go so plenty to keep us busy this week - if the paint doesn't run out:)
