Garden maintenance

As forecast, the weather was warm and sunny all day.  However, we didn't wish to set a bad example, so we chose not to leave the house even for walking exercise. 

We are very fortunate to have a garden which is an immense bonus at the moment. I appreciate that there are many people who do not have access to a garden and for whom local parks and open spaces are vital - but social distancing rules can easily be flouted there if people are not careful.

So, today I spent much of the time in the garden, carrying out some necessary maintenance - treating the fences with preservative.  Fortunately I had the preservative in stock - having bought it last year when it was on special offer. (There were no rules then about stockpiling!)

A productive end enjoyable day.  We'll see what tomorrow brings.
