A hard winter

This series is from a visit I paid to my brother who was living on the side of the Danube in the town of Ruse, Bulgaria.  He had been living with his partner further south but they fell out and my brother travelled north.  He spent the winter of 2014/15 living out of an upturned boat that he had made himself (he's very clever with his hands).

It was cold during my visit, but that was before winter had set in properly and it snowed.  The Extra photos are of his little camp (the locals didn't seem to mind) and of a chat (in Bulgarian) with acquaintances in the main square.
