Roe

The spaniel and I took our morning exercise early today and were rewarded with close views of a small group of Roe deer which we followed around the woods for some time before they were finally spooked by the dog and bounded off.

My butterfly species count has reached double figures this afternoon with a fly-by from a Small White.
