Life in the time of Covid 19 Day 14

I took this photo yesterday morning on the daily walk. Today is a beautiful pearlescent kind of day, cloudy but still warm at 20°, the sea is quite still with small, lazy waves breaking on the shore.

Lockdown
A definite routine now, M goes for a 15k cycle ride before breakfast, l loaf.
Beach walk, lunch then read, relax. Pleasant enough but after 4 weeks l may have the screaming ab dabs although l do recognise that we are so much better off than many. I read an article in the
New York Times that says New Zealand hasn't flattened the curve it has squashed it. Indeed testing has not bought any spikes or unknowns so hopefully after two weeks good results are more predictable although one cannot be complacent. As the saying goes in New Zealand "Kia Kaha Aotearoa" "be strong New Zealand"

Rain is predicted tonight.
