Lockdown Day 13 - The Cold Day

This morning J and I got up very early, the sky was only just starting to get light. Still at that moment where you need a torch for outside.

That's what we did, went outside with the torch to find Toby across the road at the neighbours gate growling at their cat....! (defending his territory mind)
Growling you say.... yup, this cat even growls when a person walks or jogs past the house and the street is 12m from the house.

So an early morning it was, made our coffee and went outside to listen to the calm before everyone wakes up, only to find someone on my chair.... A stick insect!
You don't often see these so it certainly was a treat.

I safely placed it on our chilli bush and sat down in my chair. It wasn't long when J and I agreed to go sit inside.... It was just too cold and the whole day stayed like this and overcast.

We spent most of the day inside wrapped in blankets and watching the live safari feeds from &Beyond game reserves... It was a fantastic day for seeing animals there and they finally managed to show us leopard. J and I often like to visit Kruger National Park because we live very close by and absolutely love to see the animals.
