Green Woodpecker - 19

One of our best ever bird spots.

When we do our walk I always look in a specific field. When kwdiane joined me at the gate I told her that I stop here because it seems a likely place to spot a green woodpecker which is a bird I have rarely seen. As I was saying this she said: "You mean like that one over there". Sure enough there was the woodpecker so I feel pleased that a) I recognised the habitat and b) kwdiane spotted it.
