Day 22- Robert Graves

Day 22- Robert Graves was born here, a large house near Wimbledon Village. (See extra) He enlisted in WW1 and developed an early reputation as a war poet. One of his friends was a fellow officer poet Seigfred Sassoon. After the war he took up a place at Oxford. His works include ..I Claudius, the Golden Fleece and Good-Bye to All That, an autobiography.

Tasks
- cycled to Wimbledon via New Malden, not very far and not busy at 9am. However noticed lots of cars on the A3.
- collected some shopping that daughter had bought for us and delivered their Easter presents
- more petunia plug plants were delivered so potted them up.
